DELETE YOUR ROOTWOVEN ACCOUNT

You can request permanent deletion of your Rootwoven account and the data associated with it without reinstalling or signing in to the app.
Submit a deletion request
- Email us from the Google email address you use to sign in to Rootwoven.
- Use the subject line “Delete my Rootwoven account.”
- Do not send us your Google password, recovery code, or any other sign-in credential.
If you cannot email us from the address linked to the account, contact us at social@narratwist.com and explain that you need another way to verify ownership.
What happens next
We will reply to verify that you control the Rootwoven account. After verification, we will permanently delete the account and associated data within 30 days and send you a confirmation when deletion is complete.
Deletion is permanent. It does not delete your Google account. If you sign in to Rootwoven again after deletion, a new Rootwoven account may be created.
What we delete
We delete your Rootwoven account and data associated with that account from our systems. This includes, where applicable, your account and profile identifiers, email address and Google sign-in association, saved game progress and content, virtual balance, and account-linked support and diagnostic data. We also instruct service providers processing account data for us to delete it where applicable.
Limited retention
We may retain the minimum records required for legal, tax and accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or security purposes. Retained records are not kept as an active Rootwoven account or used for ordinary product purposes, and are deleted or anonymized when the applicable retention period ends.
Subscriptions and refunds
If you have an active recurring subscription, cancel it before deletion to prevent future renewal charges. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy for instructions. If you cannot cancel it yourself, mention that in your deletion request and we will help. Deleting an account does not by itself request a refund for past purchases.
